Assistant Brand Manager
• Implementation of product launches on Souq
• Executing campaigns in coordination with brands (EOL deals/ Exclusives )
• Working closely with external and internal stakeholders to plan and execute launches. Coordination with multiple teams for the product launch including finance, marketing, content etc.
• Brand management managing brand relations for key accounts
• Look at exclusive product, product lines which could significantly add to the top and bottom line especially in mobiles and tablets
• Analytical analysis of existing and measuring potential of upcoming launches
• Competitive benchmarking of products to identify pricing and other gaps
• Forecasting volume for product launches
• Development of Joint Business Plans with brands
• Building long term association with brands and occupying the mind share of brands.
• Focus on various large manufacturing Eco system like China and USA for exploring various product lines
• Brand monetization and brand stores
• Ensure Souq.com is a preferred place for brands to do business. Generate and implement new strategies to grow brands and their presence online
• Developing innovative, strategic programs to drive sales of key launches and products
• Deep understanding and passion for E-Commerce required
• Well versed with Power Point and Excel tools
• Excellent communication skills. MBA/BE qualified individuals.
• Prior project management experience
• Experience working with cross-function team
• Experience from Online/Retail is a plus
• Prior experience with brand management is a plus for this role
