About Us We are looking for an exceptional Head of Buying to manage our Monostores division at Al Tayer Insignia. You will play an integral part in the growth of one of the regions leading luxury and fashion companies. As a leader in luxury retail in the Middle East, Al Tayer Group's retail division, Al Tayer Insignia, hosts a portfolio of some of the world's best luxury brands in the fashion, jewellery, home and department store categories. Complementing its position in luxury retail, Al Tayer Insignia has also built new frontiers in lifestyle retail, representing leading brands in the Beauty, Home, Fashion and Hospitality sectors. Our brands include Bloomingdales, Harvey Nichols and Armani to name just a few! About The Role As Head of Buying for Monostores, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing product strategies for each brand that will deliver sales and margin growth across both physical and digital sales channels. Reporting directly to the VP of Buying, you will lead the buying team responsible for our Monobrands and ensure clear communication and direction on the buying strategies for the brands within the portfolio, and work with the buying managers to ensure best in class assortments are delivered and exciting but profitable ranges are developed. This role will ensure that the teams are all working in conjunction with the principle brands buying strategy, the needs of the customer and the ultimate direction of the buying division. About You You ideally will have 10 years' experience, 5 of those being in a similar leadership role, preferably having looked after both luxury and lifestyle brands. You will be an expert in buying and merchandising product lifecycle, wholesale and/or franchise buying. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and awareness of up-to-date market trends, strong knowledge of global buying & merchandising best practices and excellent market knowledge. You will be a natural motivational leader with a strong ability to build both internal and external relationships. You must be strategic with a strong track record of decision making and negotiating skills. Frequent travel is required for this role. Schedule: Shift:
