Job description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports VM Manager on all permanent and temporary merchandising needs, striving for excellence in execution within deadlines and assigned budgets.

Acts as brand guardian and provides support to ensure all projects are delivered as per global brand guidelines and standards.

PERMANENT MERCHANDISING :

  • Leads maintenance needs of all permanent fixtures across the GCC region. Acts as main point of contacts for market supervisors and briefs suppliers accordingly on the respective projects. Raises and tracks POs accordingly. (~ 145 Open sell units C2/BW OSC/NSC, ~ 12 FSS/DS counters)
  • Supports on all retailer relocation requests. Obtains brand approval on location, briefs suppliers, raises Pos, aligns on permits and installation timelines with retailer and supplier, ensure timely and qualitative installations of all fixtures. (~ 40-45 relocations/year)
  • Coordinates in alignment with VM Manager on all Open Sell new door openings (~10-15/ year) Supports on Forecast, timely order placement from EMEA and by markets, shipment and supplier installation coordination, brief of local market teams of tester and local VM support needs.
  • Supports VM Manager on local fixture production (Open Sell Gondola/ Backwalls), raises POs, tracks progress, ensures timely installation. (~ 12-15 per year)
TEMPORARY MERCHANDISING:

  • Leads all Lightbox and visual update needs (~8x/year across ~160 doors)
  • For FSS: Complete Create Request Form (1 per cropping format by visual by door) and share for EMEA and Global Approval at least 3 months prior to launch. Take the lead and follow up on the several iterations and feedback on changes from Global.
  • Obtain mall approval on Lightbox visuals.
  • Brief Supplier, raise PO, ensure timely installation in line with Marketing Calendar across all markets.
  • Supports on FSS takeover requests (4x/year customized by door x~10 doors)
  • Share generic global guidelines with supplier to receive customized takeover proposal by door.
  • Share proposal by door with Global via Creative Review Form (CRF) at least 3months prior to installation.
  • Brief supplier on requested changes from Global
  • After obtaining final approval, brief supplier, raise POs and ensure timely installation.
  • Coordinates communication of planogram updates and changes to all markets (8 / year). Ensures markets follow guidelines and manage POSM grid/widget/tray collateral received accordingly.
  • Executes trade activities implementation for
  • In-store events for FSS and Open Sell (40 FSS events/year + 2 Beauty Studio takeovers across 26 doors/year)
  • Retailer Animations ( ~8 regional animations/year) + coordination support regional Pop Up
  • Mall podiums (~6 per year)
GENERAL

  • Obtains quotations, raise all POs related to VM projects. Supports with Procurement policy regarding tendering/number of quotations to be sourced. (~90-100 quotations + POs/year)
  • Maintains VM PO tracker and shares invoices in a timely manner.
  • Updates Fiche with new forecasts, cancellations/delays, code changes, quota changes etc.
  • Creates a store database with clear record of all doors, type of fixtures, visual specifications etc.
  • Conduct regular market visits to check adherence to brand guidelines and ensure excellence in execution of all visual merchandising across the region.
  • and provides competitor insights.
  • Monthly touch base with local markets ensuring VM guidelines are implemented, receive pictures and feedback, devise action plans as needed.
  • Reports new VM installations/updates on a monthly basis
PROFILE:

  • 1- 2 years of prior VM experience in the Middle East region in relevant industries, preferably Beauty
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Solid prioritization and time management skills
  • Proficient communication in English
