Maintenance Technician

How you will make an impact (Key responsibilities):

1. Electrical Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems, wiring, and lighting fixtures across all facilities.
• Assist in major electrical repairs and technical assignments as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all electrical work.

2. Audio-Visual (AV) Systems Maintenance

• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance of AV equipment in stores and support areas.
• Replace, install, and configure AV components according to operational requirements and technical specifications.
• Monitor AV system performance and recommend preventive measures to avoid downtime.

3. Preventive Maintenance & Emergency Support

• Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks within approved timelines and quality standards.
• Identify defects in equipment and propose preventive actions to maintain operational efficiency.
• Provide emergency repair support during off-hours to ensure business continuity.

4. Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain accurate stock levels of essential maintenance tools, AV spares, and electrical supplies.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage for reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth execution of tasks and resource availability.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI certification or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Facility Maintenance.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in general maintenance, preferably in retail, commercial, or multi-site facilities.
• Proficiency in electrical repairs, AV troubleshooting, and system installation.
• Strong diagnostic and technical repair skills with a focus on safety and quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of facility management systems and recordkeeping practices.
• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Good communication skills and teamwork capability for coordination with other departments.
