Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete supply chain cycle, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for smooth shipment handling.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations for product registration, labeling, and approvals.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, COO, and other required regulatory documents.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock movements.
- Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or discrepancies with suppliers or logistics partners.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure all products meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Liaise with government authorities (DM, Customs, etc.) as needed to clear shipments and ensure compliance.
- Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs (cost, delivery timelines, accuracy, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a food industry supply chain or logistics role within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality (DM) processes and systems, including Montaji or related platforms.
- Familiarity with UAE import/export regulations and customs clearance processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the FMCG, healthcare, or food industry.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage but not required.
