What you\'ll be doing

We are seeking a Trainee to join our JV Management team at Chalhoub Group to act as a Business Partner for all our Joint Venture Maisons. This pivotal role requires someone capable of seamlessly aligning technology, omnichannel and operations activities with business objectives, fostering innovation, and driving initiatives. The Trainee will be facilitating the integration of solutions to propel the organization forward.
  • Tactical Alignment: Forge strong partnerships with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and challenges, collaborating on technology strategies and initiatives.
  • Roadmapping: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap on key shared services aligned with business goals.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows, collaborating to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and transformation.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
  • Change Management Support: Support change management efforts to facilitate smooth adoption of new technologies and processes, fostering a culture of innovation and agility.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external partners, focusing on respect of the SLAs, performance evaluations, and service delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks collaboratively, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the organization, encouraging innovation and experimentation.
What you\'ll need to succeed
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, or related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in a similar role, collaborating effectively to align technology, omnichannel and operations with business objectives in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of contributing insights and driving initiatives independently.
  • Project management capabilities are highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Office 365 is mandatory, Power BI or similar is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French or Arabic is preferred.
  • Experience in the following fields is not mandatory but its highly desirable: Slack, ASANA, Looker, PMP, PRINCE2, Standard Operating Procedure creation knowledge.
