Summary: The Social Media Manager will Impact and drive best-in-class social presence, social strategy and brand reputation management for the Huda Beauty & Wishful brand. They will drive Huda Beauty's social media and new media initiatives, uncovering new opportunities for the brand to explore in the digital space (both online and offline). Partner with the Director of Social to develop and cascade strategic social initiatives across all key product pillars of the Huda Beauty & Wishful brand. Help oversee all global social channels and be a key contributor to regional teams for local social media presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage Huda Beauty & Wishful's social media strategy and campaigns across various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Create and publish compelling and engaging content that drives traffic, increases brand awareness and engagement.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, changes, and best practices.
  • Work closely with the marketing team & Director of Social to align social media strategy in line with founder vision & business goals with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Build and manage the global social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content is being created.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns, including budget management, targeting and reporting.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics, and use data-driven insights to optimize social media strategy and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and customer service to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Identify and manage relationships with influencers and brand advocates to drive awareness and engagement.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media campaigns across various platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative and strategic thinker.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting. Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Sprout Social.
  • Fluent on IG and all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Experience in Beauty & Cosmetics is preferred.
  • Creative mindset and able to think outside the box.
  • Project management skills.
  • Agility is a must.
  • Dynamic and team player.
  • Proficient writer with the ability to adapt language and messaging depending on platform and audience.
  • Basic Graphic Design Skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability.
