Job Summary
As a Supply Chain Executive, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the entire end-to-end process of purchase orders and stock delivery, from vendors to distribution centers and ultimately to stores. This role involves forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely procurement and delivery of products. You will work closely with suppliers to maintain strong relationships, manage lead times, and resolve any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will oversee logistics coordination, data management, and the creation and processing of inbound deliveries and invoices in SAP. By analyzing supply chain metrics and continuously improving processes, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain's efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with company goals. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with other departments will be key to maintaining seamless operations and delivering high-quality results.
Job Description
Forecasting: Analyze demand trends and forecast future inventory needs to align with operational requirements, ensuring stockouts are minimized and inventory levels are optimized.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage reorder points, and ensure accurate inventory records to maintain optimal inventory flow and prevent excess or shortage.
Vendor Communication: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to manage lead times, ensure timely procurement of materials, and resolve any issues, fostering strong relationships.
Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation, track shipments, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods; coordinate with assigned shipping agents on shipment collection and movements.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve supply chain issues such as delays, shortages, and quality problems, proactively mitigating potential disruptions.
Process Improvement: Continuously evolve and elevate existing tools and processes to streamline and optimize the supply chain, driving efficiency and innovation.
Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, production, and sales departments to align supply chain activities with company goals and support overall business strategy.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, orders, and shipments using supply chain management software, ensuring data integrity.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on key supply chain metrics, such as order fulfillment rates, delivery times, and inventory levels, to inform decision-making.
Order Processing: Handle purchase and sales orders, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
Inbound Delivery (IBD) Creation: Create inbound deliveries (IBD) with carton IDs in SAP, ensuring proper documentation for inventory receipts.
Invoice Upload: Upload invoices in SAP against IBDs to maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper reconciliation.
Excess Shortage Claims: Manage excess shortage claims from principals/vendors, negotiating and ensuring fair resolution.
Return-to-Vendor (RTV) Coordination: Coordinate the return-to-vendor (RTV) process as needed, managing logistics and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Product Destruction Management: Oversee the local destruction of products upon request from principals, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
